Jacqueline Margaret Hubbard Was Arrested After Letting Police Search Her “Felony Purse” Where They Discovered Crack And Cocaine | September 27
Largo: A Florida woman is behind bars after police say she gave them a peek into what she was carrying inside her “felony purse.” According to reports the woman, Jacqueline Margaret Hubbard, was a passenger in a Ford Ranger that was pulled over for a traffic infraction.
Police said they saw Hubbard, 59, was sitting in the front passenger seat, without her seat belt on. Officers asked if she had any drugs on her. Hubbard said yes, according to the Sept. 22 arrest affidavit. She told them she had crack cocaine in her “felony purse,” which was wrapped around her neck.
After being asked to search her belongings, the woman agreed to the search. The officer that opened the bag discovered two crack rocks and a baggie that contained a white powder. That powder turned out to be cocaine.
Jacqueline Margaret Hubbard was arrested and charged with a felony for possessing a controlled substance and is also charged with a misdemeanor for possessing drug paraphernalia.
