BMW Driving D-Bag Donnell Reddy Was Arrested After Cops Tried To Pull Him Over, So He Ran Them Over | June 26

Hollywood: It seems as though BMW drivers are at it again. Florida man Donnell Reddy was arrested nearly a month after he struck a police officer who was attempting to give him a ticket for not wearing a seat belt.

Surveillance video captured the hit-and-run crash around 3:30 p.m. May 25 on the exit ramp of Florida’s Turnpike near Hollywood Boulevard. A trooper was conducting a seat belt enforcement detail on the exit ramp and had stopped Reddy, who was in a white BMW.

Reddy struck the deputy as he was crossing the street in front of the man’s BMW. The officer is seen in the video flipping over the hood of the car as the other trooper runs to his aid.

Paramedics transported the officer to Memorial Regional Hospital to be treated for cuts on his head. He also reportedly suffered a broken wrist. The driver of the BMW fled. It was found abandoned a short distance later.

Donnell Reddy was taken into custody Friday on charges of attempted murder, aggravated fleeing and eluding and leaving the scene of a crash.
