A Florida man promised police officers that he would turn himself in when he was finished with his job, in a ruse to try to make them believe he wasn’t at his residence.

Police knocked on the door and were granted permission to search the residence.

The found the man, Jesse Pack, hiding in a dresser. The County Sheriff is quoted as saying, “This guy clearly thought he could hide from our deputies but this is not the first ‘cat and mouse’ game a fugitive has tried to play”
