George Stubbs Got Into Argument With Girlfriend Over Video Game, Chokes Her And Throws Door At Her, Gets Arrested | July 31

Vero Beach: Florida man George Stubbs as arrested Friday after tearing a door off its hinges and throwing it at his girlfriend when the pair had an argument over playing a video game.

Stubbs and his girlfriend, who was unidentified, began arguing when the girlfriend started slapping Stubbs. The girlfriend denied hitting Stubbs first, according to an arrest report.

Stubbs reportedly choked her, and then tore the 50-pound door off its hinges and threw it at the woman.

Police were called to the scene and arrested the man without incident.

George Stubbs was arrested and faces a felony charge of aggravated battery.
