A Florida Man Is Accused Of Taking An Inmate’s Limited Edition Nikes

There are some things you shouldn’t take from a man. His shoes are one of them.

A Florida man was arrested after allegedly taking shoes from an inmate at the prison where he works. He was later booked into that same prison.

Sheriff’s Lt. Chris Vorisek interviewed the man, Nicholas Rudders. The jail guard said he had the shoes, Nike Air Max 97 limited edition. Rudders gave Vorisek the shoes, which were photographed and returned to the inmate

The man originally told investigators that someone else had taken the shoes.

The inmate filed requests to get the shoes back and surveillance video showed Rudders taking them. He’s currently facing a charge of petty theft.
