De’Erica Cooks Didn’t Like That Her Friend Wouldn’t Give Her A Slice Of Pizza, So She Grabbed A Steak Knife And Tried To Take A Slice Of Her Instead | July 21
St Augustine: What started off as friends enjoying pizza ended up in jail time for one of them. According to reports, Florida woman De’Erica Cooks was arrested after she threatened someone with a knife.
The incident started when a group of people were eating pizza. Cooks asked for another slice and was denied her the slice when she asked for it.
Cooks allegedly became enraged and grabbed a steak knife. She told the woman “I’m going to cut you” with a steak knife in her hand, and then tried to attack her. Deputies say a man in the house was able to take the knife away from Cooks.
Police arrived on the scene and were able to arrest the woman without incident. Police say that the woman claimed she doesn’t remember any part of the incident.
De’Erica Cooks was arrested and is accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
