Florida Man Challenge August 18
Owls are majestic animals, that are also protected by the state of Florida. That didn’t matter to one person as a Florida man was arrested and charged after destroying the nests of 6 burrowing owls.
The man was part of a landscaping crew when he instructed workers to clear land close to the owl’s burrows. The crew got too close and as a result all 6 burrows were destroyed and are now uninhabitable.
