Florida man arrested after cutting man who wouldn’t give him squeegee

A Florida man is facing charges after cutting a man during an argument about a squeegee.

The man, Ferdinand Velez Latorre, was involved in a verbal altercation with the victim before the attack occurred. Latorre then jumped onto a pickup truck and demanded a squeegee from another man before cutting him with a razor blade.

“I’ll kill you, I’ll kill everybody!” Latorre is quoted as saying.

The second victim said the man also chased him with a machete. When police arrived on scene, the man was nowhere to be found.

He was arrested sleeping in his car a short time later and is currently facing 3 charges related to the attacks.

Florida man arrested after driving three times the legal limit in a golf cart

A 45-year-old Florida man was more than three times over the legal limit while driving a golf cart on a road. A concerned citizen called police after seeing the man nodding off at a red light.

When police arrived on scene the man, Dean Hooks, seemed groggy, his eyes were watery and bloodshot, he smelled of alcohol and he had difficulty answering simple questions.

He had an opened 1.75 liter bottle of Fireball Whisky and four miniature bottles of the liquor were discovered on a seat beside him.

Hooks provided two breath samples, which registered alcohol concentrations of 0.285 g/210L and 0.292 g/210L. The legal limit in Florida is 0.08 g/210L.

He is currently facing charges including driving under the influence and resisting an officer.
