Sara Searer Was Arrested After Getting In Dispute With Husband, Attacking Him With Machete And ADT Lawn Sign | June 29
Pasco County: Spouses argue, it’s part of committing to someone long term. While most arguments end with the couple either laughing or not speaking for a few days, a Florida woman had a different way to respond to her spouse. Sara Searer was arrested after attacking her spouse with a machete and an ADT lawn sign.
Sara Searer and Daniel Hebert were fighting in his truck. At one point, she pulled out a machete that was between the seats and stabbed the console. She then starting swinging the machete toward the victim, the report says.
Once they were out of the truck, Searer struck Hebert with the machete, he told officers, causing “two superficial cuts” on his left arm.
That’s when the suspect dropped the machete and picked up an ADT security services sign and hit Hebert’s left hand with it. He told authorities he was in “fear of his life,” adding that earlier in the day Searer fired shots from her gun and pointed it “at his face.”
The 29-year-old unemployed woman was arrested on domestic aggravated assault and domestic aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and transported to Land O’ Lakes jail.
