Michael Stanley Was Pulled Over For A Minor Traffic Infraction, Police Discover Plethora Of Drugs In His Vehicle | July 31
Sanford: It seems like a story that’s a broken record, what started out as a routine traffic stop ended in an arrest for a Florida man. The man, Michael Stanley, was pulled over for a minor traffic violation.
According to reports, police pulled the man over when they noticed an expired tag. After making contact with the driver the officer smelled the odor of burnt marijuana and requested assistance from another police officer.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and officers located more than 12 grams of heroin, 16 grams of cocaine, 106 grams of marijuana, 34 grams of ecstasy, and miscellaneous items of drug paraphernalia, and $300 in cash.
Police arrested 31-year-old Michael Stanley, of Sandford, Florida, on charges of dealing and possession of a narcotic drug, dealing and possession of a controlled substance, dealing and possession of marijuana, and resisting arrest in a motor vehicle.
