Joshua Schlotmann Got Caught On Video Striking His Dog Thanos, Police Avenge The Dog And Arrest Him | September 10
Lee County: Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joshua Schlotmann Sunday after video was captured by a homeowner’s Ring doorbell camera that showed him striking a dog. Police got the last laugh after avenging the dog by identifying and arresting the man.
According to reports, the male in the video appeared to pin the dog to the ground and deliver three closed-fisted blows to the canine. The video had been posted online and deputies responded to the location of the incident.
Police ended up locating the man and questioned him about what had happened. Schlotmann was handcuffed and the pup was rescued.
Thanos, the dog, was removed by Lee County Domestic Animal Services and remains in the agency’s care.
Joshua Schlotmann was arrested and faces a charge for Aggravated Animal Cruelty.
