Florida Tattoo Wizard Jesse Paul Ayotte Wanted By Police For Series Of Bank Robberies | August 2
Orange County: Policeare on the hunt for Florida man Jesse Paul Ayotte who has been pictured in a T-shirt reading “Tattooed Wizard” over a series of bank robberies in the Orlando area.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Ayotte robbed four different banks, two on their turf, one in neighboring Volusia County, and another in Orlando.
According to Ayotte’s LinkedIn page, the image from which was shared by police, he is the in-house member counselor at Hyatt Residence Club. Which is a timeshare company based in Key West. He has also worked in telesales and as a salesman in real estate.
The Orange County and Volusia County sheriffs said Ayotte’s alleged robbery spree began in May. He has been caught on surveillance camera wearing a white baseball cap in each incident.
On May 30 at around 16:57, Ayotte entered the Chase Bank at 7674 Dr. Phillips Blvd, and “presented a note asking for money and left as the teller went to get her manager.”
Then on July 3 at about 16:35, Ayotte “implied a weapon” and robbed Regions Bank at 13700 S. John Young Pkwy. On July 20, he robbed another bank in Orlando, though the details were not immediately available about that incident.
Finally, on Tuesday this week, July 30, Ayotte robbed the Fifth Third Bank at 2730 Elkcam Blvd. Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said he showed a teller a note demanding money and fled with an unknown amount of cash toward a strip mall behind the bank.
Ayotte has lived in Land O’ Lakes and has arrests on charges related to traffic infractions and felonies such as burglary, theft, and forgery in Florida, Missouri, and Oklahoma. He also reportedly filed for bankruptcy in 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
