A Florida man beat and pepper sprayed mom, because she “was a narcissist”

A 24 year old Florida man has been charged after police say he beat and pepper sprayed his mother, claiming to do so because she “was a narcissist”.
The man, Robert Eddington, was arrested at the victim’s home. According to reports, the mother invited him over for lunch where he showed up with a knife, zip tie and pepper spray.
Shortly after arriving the man began attacking her by punching her and slamming her head into a window, leaving her seriously injured.
Eddington called 911 and told police that he attacked and pepper sprayed his mother because it, “had to be done”.
The man’s mother told police that the man is bipolar and has not been taking his medication.
