Jack Williams Attempted To Break Into Buddhist Temple, Flees Half Naked When Monks Investigate The Noise | June 21
Hernando: A Buddhist temple is a place for people to find themselves. To meditate and become one with their thoughts. Florida man Jack Williams was arrested after trying to break into a temple and then fleeing half naked from police.
Kenneth City Police have said that Jack Williams was seen at around 5:15 a.m. on June 19 on the roof of the Kenneth City Buddha Temple striking a glass bedroom window. Monks at the temple went to investigate the noise and confronted Williams.
The man apparently removed his shorts and shoes before attempting to flee from the monks.
Police found Williams was later found in an apartment complex not far from the temple. He admitted to police that he climbed over a six-foot-high fence and climbed onto the second story of the temple’s roof to get inside one of the bedrooms.
He’s currently facing charges including loitering and prowling.
