A Florida Woman Was Arrested For Riding A Horse While Drunk
Did you know that you can get a DUI when riding a horse?
A Florida woman was arrested for driving a horse on a busy road while intoxicated.
Police were called to the scene when a passerby called 911. When they arrived they found the woman, Donna Byrne, staggering. According to police she stunk of alcohol and had red and watery eyes.
When they conducted a breathalyzer she blew almost twice the legal limit.
She’s facing a charge of driving under the influence however there may be a precedent allowing her to go free. According to Florida statute, to get a DUI you must be operating a vehicle.
