Quelinda Hallam Was Arrested After Police Pursuit In Stolen Pickup Truck, Crashing Into State Trooper
Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot of folks from Florida who love stealing vehicles and then getting into police chases?
In the latest, a Florida woman Quelinda Hallam was arrested after leading Maryland police on a chase into Delaware.
According to reports, a trooper spotted the truck that had been reported stolen from St. Petersburg, Florida. The officer began to pursue the woman, who led them on a chase through Maryland and into Delaware.
Delaware state police said the pickup crashed with a Maryland trooper around Christiana Road after Hallam purposefully drove into the pursuing vehicle.
The Maryland trooper had minor injuries, according to Delaware State Police.
Hallam was charged with reckless endangering, receiving stolen property greater than $1,5000 and reckless driving. Her passenger was not charged for the pursuit but was jailed for violating a court order.
