A Florida Man Walked Into A Pawn Shop To Try To Sell His Baby
How far is too far in the attempt to get some likes on social media?
A Florida man is currently not facing charges after attempting to sell a baby at a pawn shop, according to the Sarasota Police Department.
Police were called after a pawn shop clerk reported a suspicious man who entered the store and asked several times if he could pawn his baby. Police immediately began a search for the child to make sure that it was safe.
A man, who is still currently unidentified, contacted police to let them know that it was a prank. He had been hoping to use the video recorded to put out on social media in hopes it would go viral.
Police verified the child was safe and alerted the Florida Department of Children and Families. The man is currently not facing charges.
