A Florida Man Stabbed His Wife’s Divorce Attorney At The Law Office Where They Were Meeting
Talk about a bit of an overreaction.
A Florida man is facing charges after he stabbed his wife’s divorce lawyer with a knife that he took from the victim. According to reports the man, Gordon James King, was going through a deposition when the incident occurred.
King got upset about a no contact order against him and began yelling. The victim requested that the deposition conclude. King pushed one of his attorneys out of the way and made his way toward the victim. He asked him, “what are you going to do now you fat little (expletive)?”
Police said King then punched the victim in the head and chest.
Someone at the law firm called police and that set the man off more. He yelled, “well [email protected]$ it then” and slammed the victim’s head onto the table.
The victim grabbed a knife from his pocket and attempted to slash King’s arm to defend himself. King was able to pry the knife away from the man and stab him multiple times.
Police arrived to see the victim soaked in blood. King was in the parking lot, also suffering from a stab wound. Both men were taken to hospital to have their wounds treated.
King is facing charges of aggravated battery with great bodily harm, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and tampering with a victim.
