A retired Miami-Dade school counselor was arrested after firing at a man over a parking spot and leading police on a wild chase.
According to reports, a man and woman had parked their cars next to each other at the AMC Plaza at Pembroke Lakes mall. The pair were speaking when a third car drove up and started arguing with the man over a parking space.
During the argument, Solomon C Stinson shot at the man’s car, shattering the rear window. The woman drove away as Stinson fled toward Flamingo Road. She realized he was following her.
Stinson continued north on Flamingo, where he was pursued by police officers. He fired more shots at Flamingo and Sheridan Street, aiming at officers who shot back.
