Charles James Cann Was Arrested For 3rd DUI In 10 Years, Had Bottle Of Rum With Him

The Florida man was pulled over for suspicion of driving drunk. It was confirmed by sheriff’s deputy’s hunch when he backed his pickup truck into the cop’s cruiser.
According to reports, the deputy became suspicious of the man after he was seen weaving in and out of lanes. He apparently was also veering into oncoming traffic. Police had also received multiple calls about the man.
The officer initiated a traffic stop when Cann put his truck into reverse and smashed into the officer’s vehicle.
Cann had blood shot eyes and was slurring his words. Police also found a large bottle of rum inside the vehicle with the man. He refused to take a breathalyzer or a field sobriety test.
He’s currently facing a felony DUI charge as this is his 3rd DUI arrest in under 10 years.
