A Florida man accused of trying to steal $4K worth of stuff from Walmart blamed diabetes
Wilfred Brimley strikes again! A Florida man accused of trying to shoplift more than $4,000 worth of merchandise from a Walmart blamed his blood sugar and diabetes for making him do it.
The man, Lawrence Fruggiero Jr., tried to steal a total of $2,098.50 worth of merchandise in two separate attempts. As police investigated the two incidents, they became aware of two additional times that Fruggiero attempted to shoplift from the same Walmart.
Fruggiero was arrested and charged with grand theft and scheming to defraud.
