Daniel Christopher Booth Attempts To Hide From Police In Pond, Gets Arrested When He Comes Up For Air | January 16

Wellborn: A man wanted for selling drugs in Baker County was arrested Wednesday after he attempted to hide in a pond. According to a Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office release, 36-year-old Daniel Christopher Booth, of Macclenny, was working at the solar power plant under construction off Hogan Road in Wellborn and had warrants for his arrest from Baker County for selling methamphetamine.

When authorities arrived, the suspect tried to escape and attempted to hide from the Suwannee Correctional Institution K-9 unit underwater in a pond, the release states. However, when the suspect came up for air, he was arrested.

Daniel Christopher Booth was transported to the Suwannee County Jail with the additional charge of resisting arrest without violence.
