Cecelia Graham Attacked Man With A Hammer Multiple Times For Returning Vehicle Late | August 28
Marion County: An Ocala woman was jailed Sunday afternoon after a man claimed she attacked him with a hammer. Police were called to a home where a man told them that he had been driving Cecelia Graham’s vehicle when she had asked him to return it.
The man claimed that when he arrived with the vehicle, Graham became “verbal” with him and as he was trying to leave, she hit him with a hammer – twice in his left knee and once on his left shoulder.
The deputy noted that the man’s knee was swollen but didn’t observe any swelling on his left shoulder, the report says.
Police attempted to locate Graham at her home but she wasn’t there. So, he returned Sunday and after being read her rights, Graham admitted to being in a verbal confrontation with the man regarding her vehicle.
But when asked about his claims that she hit him with a hammer, Graham didn’t comment.
Cecelia Graham was charged with aggravated domestic battery with a deadly weapon. She was released late Monday morning on $500 bond and is due in court on Sept. 24 at 9 a.m. to answer to the charge.
