Florida Man Challenge August 16
A Florida man has been charged after he set fire to a caged raccoon. Responding officers were told by the man that he trapped the raccoon because it was being a nuisance. Unsure of how to dispose of the animal, the man decided to set the raccoon on fire.
Neighbors told police that the man, Ezra Lee James, was a nice man and he often waved at them while working on his front yard.
One man believed that the police were putting down a stray animal when he learned that they were actually putting down the injured raccoon.
The man is currently facing a charge of animal cruelty resulting in death.
