A Florida man is facing an aggravated child abuse charge for burning his daughter’s hand on a stove top as punishment for stealing.
According to reports, the school noticed that the girl was injured when she came into school. She had a burn on her hand along with a bruised eye.
Police were called regarding the incident.
The man, Felipe Casanova, told police his daughter bruised her eye when she pulled away from the stove and tripped.
Casanova was arrested for aggravated child abuse.
