Florida man charged in death of grandma after she is found in maggot infested bed

It’s another sad day today, as a Florida man was charged in the death of his grandma after she was found in a maggot infested bed.

The woman was covered in bed sores and some were infested with maggots. She apparently suffered from dementia and was in good health when originally released from a rehabilitation center a few months earlier.

The man, Allen Arias, was charged with aggravated manslaughter of an elderly person.
